I’m wondering aloud if the last boat of the day will arrive and then leave. Normally the Hy-Line is pretty good about getting vacationers off the island. But with 40 MPH gusts, what are the odds? This could be interesting.

School vacation starts. But will the boats go?

There was a nice long line of construction workers and islanders leavening the island on the 4:35. Actually the construction workers were not in line. They just huddle close to the ramp, hoping to get their to fists of beer before everyone else.
